Then n Now

After a whole month of fasting, we celebrated. This year, it’s on the 1st October.
And for my dad and his siblings, it’s the first of many that they will be celebrating without their parents. As for me and my cousins, it’s a first that we’re celebrating the festive season without the grandparents.

It’s coming close to 2 months since she left.

Wassit different? Most definitely. For one, it’s less livelier. Families are more than eager to lease as soon as possible. Never would have thought that it could be this way. Maybe...they too are just adjusting. Just as much as I am. We’ll just wait and see.
